Having been a HUGE fan for 20 years since hearing Michael on the radio talking about his Gershwin project and singing some of the songs, I was slightly nervous about seeing him in the flesh. The show at The Sage did not disappoint, however. What a fabulous evening's entertainment. I had to look up 'erudite' but that's one of the reasons I am such a fan; he knows so much about music. Of course, his voice has such a spine-tingling quality that it's enough just to listen to him singing to be completely captivated but the warmth of his personality and connection with the audience made the evening one I will never forget. Thank you all.
