I was born in Columbus Ohio and have been following Michael's career forever. I loved the concert in Columbus, so intimate and romantic with Michael at the piano and singing romantic tunes.
Last week in Naples it was sad, due to the performances of Arlene Dahl and Jane Russell. I was really emabarassed for them, especially when Arlene got lost leaving the stage. I thought they should be introduced to the crowd as so many of audience members were close to their age, but their singing was awful. I know Michael said next year he is performing with a big band, which I am sure will be great. But I hope he still will perform using only the piano sometimes, as he is so talented singing as well as playing the piano, and the sounds he produces are sometimes lost with the other instruments.
His voice sounded as good as ever in Naples. I look forward to the next performance I am able to attend as well as his next CD.
